Kathmandu Model College was established in the year 2003 with a vision to provide quality education and has now grown into one of Nepal’s premier institutions of learning. In 2023, we proudly received accreditation from the University Grants Commission (UGC), a significant achievement that acknowledges our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality education. This accreditation marks a major milestone in our journey, affirming that KMC meets rigorous academic standards and offers an environment that fosters academic excellence and intellectual growth. Additionally, KMC was honored with the prestigious Best College Award by the Government of Nepal. This recognition reflects our dedication to creating a nurturing environment where students can thrive and succeed. It is the result of years of hard work, perseverance, and a collective effort from every member of the KMC family. I express my heartfelt gratitude to the College Assembly, the Board of Directors, and our visionary College Chief. Dear Students, Greetings from KMC, I’d like to welcome you as a member of our community, which is founded on four pillars: students, faculty, guardians, and college management. The success stories of our students demonstrate the value of this collaboration. Over the last few decades, there has been an increasing demand for competent and efficient employees both at home and abroad. Society is in great need of a strong social entrepreneur to drive the causes of pressing social challenges. Considering the fact, KMC has placed equal emphasis on academic and practical aspects of learning by offering a real-life learning environment from its start. In addition to developing competent human resources for the market, the institution puts equal emphasis on developing entrepreneurial skills so that our graduates could innovate and contribute to the creation of employment markets for others. KMC’s outstanding performance in diverse streams has also been made possible by its qualified and competent teachers, cooperative administrative staffs, and KMC promoting team members who are academically sound and have a proven track-record of educational entrepreneurship in running other sister organizations under the KMC Educational Network. We also collaborate with many national and international institutions, as well as social and corporate sectors, to help bridge the gap between academics and industry.
